Answering a call
Lift the handset or press the Speaker key to answer if you have a handsfree phone.Place a call
To make a call, lift the handset or dial straight onto the keypad for handsfree working.Enter required number, 9 for an outside line.
Terminate a call
Press the Release key and replace handset or make another call.Accessing the integrated Phonebook
The integrated phonebook lists internal and external numbers.To view the phonebook, lift the handset and the display shows “Phonebook?”, press OK or press the Phonebook key.
To search for an entry, press the first letter of the person that you are searching for, for example, if you are searching for Oliver, press the 6 three times (3rd letter on the key is O), press the 5 three times (3rd letter on the key is L). Press OK to “Call?” or use the + or – scroll through the list until you find the entry that you are looking for, to “Call?”, press OK.
Transfer a call to another extension
The display reads ‘Enquiry?’ press OK. Dial required number.Announce call and press the Release key – call is transferred.
Return to a held call if extension busy or no answer
The display reads ‘Quit and Return?’ or ‘Return to held call?’.Press OK to return to the held call.
Transfer a call to an external number
The display reads ‘Enquiry?’, press OK. Dial 9 followed by external number.Once connected, announce call and press the down arrow key until ‘Transfer?’ is displayed. Press OK – call is transferred.
Hold a call
The display reads ‘Enquiry?’, press OK and the caller is held.To return to the caller, the display reads ‘Return to held call?’, press OK.
Mute (Secrecy key)
Press the Mute key, the light is lit and the caller is held. You will still hear the caller, but they will not hear you.To resume your conversation, press the Mute key again so that the light goes out.
Call Pickup – Group
To answer a ringing phone within your team:Press the flashing Call Pickup key,
Or
Lift the handset and the display reads ‘Pickup Group?’
Press OK.
Call Pickup - Direct
To answer a ringing phone outside of your team lift the handset and dial *59 followed by the extension number.Call Park
Parking a call gives you the facility to retrieve a held call from an alternative extension and will also free up your phone to make and receive calls.To park a call, press the Call Park key, enter the park position number 1 through to 0 and the display will read ‘Parked at Position ?’.
If a park position is in use, you will receive a warning tone, and will need to choose another park position.
Retrieving a Parked Call
Press the Call Park key followed by the park position number.Set up a conference call
Whilst connected to your first caller, the display reads ‘Enquiry?’, press OK and the caller is held.Enter the extension or external number (prefix 9). Once connected, the display will read ‘Quit and Return?’, press the down arrow key until ‘Conference?’ is displayed, press OK to join the calls together.
If the person does not wish to join the conference:
The display reads ‘Quit and Return’, press OK to return to the conference without the caller.
Add another extension
The display reads ‘Add Party?’, press OK Enter the extension or external number (prefix 9). Once connected to your third call, the display will read “Quit and Return?”.Press the down arrow key until ‘Conference?’ is displayed and press OK to join the calls together.
Diverting your phone to another number or voicemail
With the handset down, press the down arrow key until ‘Forwarding On?’ is displayed. Press OK.The display reads ‘All Calls?’, press OK.
Enter the required extension number that you wish to divert to. Press OK to ‘Save?’.
Cancel Divert
With the handset down, press the down arrow key until ‘Forwarding Off?’ is displayed; Press OK.Ring Volume
Leave the handset in the cradle. Press the + or – and the display reads ‘Ringer Volume?’.Press OK and use the + or – to adjust and press OK to set.
Ring Tone
Leave the handset in the cradle. Press the + or – and the display reads ‘Ringer Tone?’.Press OK and use the + or – to adjust and press OK to set.
Handset Volume
Whilst on a call: Press the + or – to adjust the handset volume.If you wish to save the level, press OK to set.
Speaker Volume
Press the speaker button and press the + or – to adjust the speaker volume.If you wish to save the level, press OK to set.
